Delete your account

How it works

1. Enter the email address used for your account, including if you signed in with Google.
2. We will contact you to confirm that you control the account before processing deletion. Submitting this form does not immediately delete anything.
3. Once ownership is verified, we will process your request and confirm completion.

Never send your password or a sign-in code. If you cannot access your account email, provide a reachable email and explain the situation in the message so we can discuss verification.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account, profile, favourites, reviews, votes, reports, uploaded photos and account-linked venue submissions and corrections. Account deletion is permanent.

What may remain

Accepted venue listings remain in the public directory. Separate contact messages and feedback are not automatically removed with your account; mention these in your request if you want them reviewed for deletion too.

We retain a minimal security record containing the account ID and deletion timestamps to block old sessions and support interrupted cleanup. This security record currently has no automatic expiry. Assisted requests also retain a receipt with the request ID, account ID and verifying administrator ID. Scheduled cleanup removes that receipt once both deletion completion and resolution of the request are more than 12 months old, unless a specific temporary hold applies. Unresolved requests are preserved.

Resolved contact messages and feedback are eligible for cleanup after 12 months. Aggregate usage totals cannot be traced back to an account and are not removed by account deletion; they are eligible for cleanup after 24 months. Provider diagnostics and analytics follow their own retention settings and are not automatically erased by this process. Daily cleanup runs in batches, so a backlog can briefly delay removal.
